Dispensary Technician – Full Time

Unichem Brighton Village Pharmacy is looking for an enthusiastic full time Dispensary Technician to join our marvelous team. It’s a great opportunity to work with a community focused pharmacy. We are a long-established dedicated group of healthcare professionals with 6 stores in Christchurch. We are committed to providing a better health outcome for our patients. This is a busy role with varied tasks, from the dispensary to interacting with customers. We are therefore looking for someone with great time management and a high attention to detail. You must want to build relationships with the local community and enjoy working closely with doctors and other medical professionals.

Do you have what we’re looking for?

· Must have Pharmacy Technician qualification in NZ - Level 4 or higher.

· At least one year Dispensary technician experience.

· Consistently accurate and efficient in the entering and dispensing process.

· Dedicated work ethic and a strong team player.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with our customers and other healthcare professionals.

 

What the job entails:

· Ensure smooth running of the dispensary.

· Experience with blister packs, preparation and sending of batches along with general daily dispensary tasks.

· Experience in running Alpaca Robot is essential (full training can be provided for the right candidate with a 'can do' attitude).

· Dispensary stock management and replenishment.

· Providing quality service and advise about healthcare information, product recommendations, to our patients and customers.

· Support our pharmacist and the various other services we provide.

· Experience with Toniq Dispensary Software is an advantage.

Working Hours: This is Full time role from Monday to Friday 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
