Pharmacy Nurse (Max. 30 hours a week, no late nights or all public holidays off)

We are looking for a dynamic and energetic Pharmacy Nurse to join our team!!

This is a split role over our two stores - Unichem Ilam Healthworks Pharmacy, Burnside and Unichem Brighton Village Pharmacy, New Brighton or it could be a role calling for two people for two different sites. What you’ll do

As a Pharmacy Nurse your role is multifaceted:

1. The Pharmacy Nurse supports the capacity for clinical service provision within the stores, alongside other providers, and reports to the Pharmacy Manager.

2. To help the pharmacy to maximise the delivery of services to the community by providing dedicated time for these services and occasional promotional clinics.

3. Closely involved in the training and support of other team members in the provision of new services, using the booking system, and in the marketing of services.

4. The Pharmacy Nurse may, in consultation with the Pharmacy Manager, introduce new services as appropriate to maximise their utility in their rostered hours.

5. Uplift business by implementing good marketing ideas and efficient work streams.

 

 

Requirements:

 

· A current NZ Practicing Certificate (enrolled or registered nurse).

· A fully authorised vaccinator

· Professional indemnity insurance

· High level of professionalism and confidentiality.

· Experience with working in the community (retail preferred but not essential)

· Working independently in a culturally competent way.

· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build loyalty with customers and team members alike.

· Has a high level of accuracy with clinical notes and written communication.

· Confident using a variety of IT platforms, including patient database, email, Zoom, etc.

· Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work permit.

Working hours: This role will require maximum of 30 hours per week. Hours are flexible and negotiable for the right candidate.
