The Maxigesic Cold & Flu/Sinus & Pain Kit combines two products in one pack - the Maxigesic 20 tablet pack along with the Maxiclear 10 mL nasal spray.

The Maxigesic Cold & Flu/Sinus & Pain Kit combines the benefits of Maxigesic tablets, providing relief from pain fever through its novel combination of paracetamol and ibuprofen, with the Maxiclear Nasal Spray, which provides relief of nasal congestion due to colds, influenza, sinusitis and allergic rhinitis.

Maxigesic and Maxiclear Nasal Spray can be used together to help provide relief from the symptoms of cold & flu.

Warnings

Maxigesic:
- Contains lactose.
- Keep out of reach and sight of children.
- Keep to the recommended dose.
- Do not exceed the maximum stated dose.

Do not take Maxigesic:
- if you have a stomach ulcer
- if you are allergic to paracetamol, ibuprofen, aspirin or other anti-inflammatory medicines
- if you are pregnant or trying to become pregnant
- with other products containing paracetamol or ibuprofen.

Unless your doctor has told you to, do not take Maxigesic:
- with other medicines you are taking regularly
- if you have asthma
- for more than a few days at a time (adults)
- for longer than 48 hours at a time unless advised by a healthcare professional (children and adolescents over 12 years)
- if you have kidney problems or impaired renal function
- if you are aged 65 years or over.

Maxiclear Nasal Spray:
Do not use in children under 12 years of age.
Do not use for more than three days at a time unless advised by a doctor or pharmacist.
If congestion persists, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
Frequent or prolonged use may cause nasal congestion to recur or worsen.
If you are breastfeeding, check with your doctor or pharmacist before using this product.
Do not take Maxiclear Nasal Spray if you are pregnant or trying to become pregnant.
Discard one month after opening.
Contains benzalkonium chloride as a preservative.

FIRST AID INFORMATION

If you think you may have given/taken too much paracetamol, or an overdose, ring the Poisons Information Centre on 0800 764 766 or go to a hospital straight away, even if you feel well. The damaging effect on your liver can take time for your body to notice.

Ingredients

Active Ingredients: Maxigesic: Paracetamol 500 mg and Ibuprofen 150 mg

Maxiclear Nasal Spray: Xylometazoline hydrochloride 138 micrograms per spray

Allergen Contains: Lactose

Directions

Maxiclear Nasal Spray:
- Blow the nose.
- Remove the protective cap.
- If you use the bottle for the first time, you should press the pump 5 times until an even spray is released. The next time you use the bottle this will no longer be necessary. If you have not used the bottle for 7 days (after first use), press the pump 1 time to prepare the bottle for use again. Make sure not to spray into the eyes or mouth.
- Keep the bottle upright between thumbs and fingers.
- Keep the nozzle upright properly, tilt the head forward slightly and place the nozzle in a nostril.
- Spray once in each nostril. Breathe in through your nose whilst pressing down the pump. Clean and dry the nozzle before replacing the dust cap.

USAGE ADVICE

Do not exceed maximum daily dose.

STORAGE AND DISPOSAL

Maxiclear Nasal Spray: discard one month after opening.

STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS

Store below 25 degrees Celsius.
Do not freeze.
